For the camping season, we have two, spacious camping pitches each with their own private flushing loo and hot shower.

Each pitch is also supplied with:

  • A well-spaced area for your own tent or campervan.

  • An electric hook up.

  • A washing up station, for your own use.

  • A fire pit on request with initial welcome bundle of logs. Extra seasoned logs are available to purchase onsite. *Only logs provided by us, can be burnt onsite

Also provided at the campsite are:

  • Recycling, composting and rubbish facilities at the designated area of the campsite. As part of our Greener Camping Club rules, we ask that all visitors should aim to recycle and compost as much as possible.

Things to Note

If the incorrect amount of adults and children have been booked...

We can refuse entry to those parties who book the incorrect amount of adults/children. This is because we may not have planned to accommodate for all of you. Nevertheless, the option of paying the missing balance of the added adults/children will be offered with an additional 20% to the total for the inconvenience. For example, if we can accommodate you, and you missed 2 children from a weeks booking, we will charge you £98 for the 2 children + £19.60 (which would be 20%) for the inconvenience. If the party didn't want to pay this, then we would refuse you entry to our site. It is worth noting that we may not always be able to accommodate a larger party than originally booked, so please take care when booking.

We’re quite lucky in the UK with our wildlife as there isn’t much about that can do you any harm. But there are some you need to be aware of.

Ticks:

Most ticks are harmless, but some may carry Lyme disease. They tend to be found in grassy or wooden areas, so make sure you protect yourself and stay out of the long grass. The best way of preventing Lyme Disease is to avoid being bitten. We recommend using an insect repellent – products containing DEET are the best.

Wasps and Bees:

Please make sure that you don’t leave food out – especially anything sweet. If a wasp or bee lands on you, please don’t panic - let it fly off you in its own time.

Ants:

Please ensure you keep food off the ground and covered up to prevent ants.

  •  One member of the booking (over 18) must be a member of The Greener Camping Club.

  • Upon booking, we require a  20% non-refundable deposit. Bookings must be paid in full, 4 weeks prior to arrival, which will then be non-refundable. We will send out reminder emails.

  • Although there are flat areas to pitch your tent, it's worth mentioning that surrounding areas are slightly sloped.

On arrival, you are welcome to drive to your pitch to drop off your belongings, we may allow you to park by your pitch depending on how dry the season has been. If it the ground is very wet, we'll ask you to park in the car park. Please note that the parking area is a 100-metre walk up the hill to the campsite. *One car per pitch is permitted.

  • Due to having livestock on our farm, dogs are not permitted at this time.

  • We recommend that you bring a torch.

  • Children must always be supervised.

  • Campers must stay in the designated camping field only.

  • The stags are put with the females in late August. Please be aware that stags bellowing can be heard from this time. There could also be noise from stags through the night.
